The British Invasion

For 12 days we were lucky enough to spend some time with our favorite family from across the pond.  We tried every restaurant we could find and visited some great places in Texas we have never been to before.


Emma was able to see her first baseball game

We visited the Fort Worth Stockyards and saw cowboys

Emma was able to go into her first bar -- but not just any bar, it was the world famous Billy Bob's Honky Tonk in Fort Worth

Emma was also able to see her first rodeo, while Millie and Daisy are clearly able to pull off the cowgirl look.

And overall we saw lots of great things Texas has to offer

We will miss our friends and hope Ya'll come back now! Ya hear?

My first Fathers Day

For my first fathers day, I had an action packed weekend planned.

I started off by swimming, but as you know sun and water makes a girl tired, so I had to take a power nap in the middle of my swim session.

On Sunday I gave Daddy a card.

Who needs fingers when you have toes

So Mommy keeps telling me that putting my thumb or fingers into my mouth is a bad habit and not something a little lady does . . . .  so that's why I decided to put my foot into my mouth instead.  Mommy makes comments that Daddy is always putting his foot into his mouth, so it must be a good habit.
